This weekly class is about taking what you need. Holding space for reflection as well as release. Engage the body in conversation on the mat, rewire your brain to fulfill your purpose. With consistent practice, you can unlock tension from past injuries and trauma.
THIS GROUP IS DESIGNED for those of us who are "richly scheduled" to learn yoga and other self-care practices in 60 minutes. All you need tiny steps to live a more vibrant and self-aware life, through cultivating a consistent home practice. You know you need to take care of yourself if you want/need to take care of others.
SLOWING DOWN IS HARD WHEN YOU LOVE THE GAS PEDAL. Of course you are driven and want to accomplish things. There are so many things that you can do! Although there is likely little leftover for yourself, you're 'doing ok' and committed to doing it all again tomorrow.
THERE IS NO BETTER TIME TO TONE THE MIND AND THE BODY. Inside-out alignment through the practice of yoga postures will help to train your mind, reduce your stress, and the better you feel, the more you can be present for all of life's moments!
I WILL EMPOWER YOU to have confidence on the mat, and love yourself using what you have, right now. I will teach you how to modify poses with the use of a chair, wall or even pillows and books (anything in your house is fair game as a yoga prop!)
LET'S BREAK DOWN EACH POSE to learn that all parts are connected and all energies intersect somewhere. Let's slow it down so we can bring this point home... the journey > the destination.
BE SAFE AT HOME. No more driving to and from the gym/studio! Crawl from mat to bed after practice if you like! Online, pre-recorded videos can be tough to follow.
